[Because you can apparently post a VOX post to LJ, but not vice-versa. Well, damn]

Phone interview with QUB Belfast on Friday!
Now let's see... 4pm GMT is 11am our time, right?
Suh-weet. (Funding this school is probably a dream, as I need to win a pretty rare ORSAS award, but I'm still looking forward to the interview.)
Gosh, though, it would be fun to go study zoo animals in the UK.
What are the 10 foods you must have in your refrigerator and/or your kitchen cabinet?
Submitted by Carol.
1. soy milk
2. tomatoes
3. pasta
4. cheese (parm & romano, and a block, usually x-sharp cheddar or swiss)
5. bread / tortillas
6. diet cola / coffee7. chamomile tea (to counteract # 6)
8. honey
9. peanut butter
10. mayonnaise
I also need fresh spinach. but that's really all i eat. ok, also clif bars- all varieties, and yogurt, all-natural cereal, fruit... I had to cheat a bit, eh? but really, outside of whatever j. is into, i'm quite simple these days, i think.
I uploaded a bunch of video of the animals to youtube. some of it is also here on vox; much is not.
impressive piecing-together... i like it.
(not actually all disney as the youtube title says)
haha, vox added a daily photo scavenger hunt option? copycats! i say this bc i've been a member of the flickr group monthly scavenger hunt since early july. i know, i'm hardly a pioneer in the online photo scavenger hunt thing, but i joined that group right when it exploded in size. ( i think it was boingboinged.) still, i have to wonder- is this the new cool thing? heh. of course, the flickr group has under a thousand people in it. not so huge.
frankly, it mostly makes me wish my sd cards weren't acting up and that i could find either my camera cable or a cable that fits the card reader but doesn't have a rat bitten chunk missing.
in other, more piercing news- i have (the chorus from) mama mia stuck in my head. yes, abba. tiny tinny shrill voices and all, and no more than a dozen words total, on loop. joy, boppy. i've never been quite sure if i hated abba or not. maybe if i was really drunk... when sam came back from sweden she said the swedish college girls there, when they went out partying, all got ragingly drunk and then staggered home clutching each other and singing at the tops of their lungs. i suppose i can see abba being entertaining if one approaches it from this angle. indeed, that sounds like fun. the idea of getting roaring drunk and singing in the street always sounds like good idea, though the ideal (non-scary) streets in my head are those in bloomington, IN, or a million places i've never been, and nowhere to be found in tampa.
i'm almost done reading this book
What's your cell phone's ringtone? What made you pick it?
for justin- Bowie, Let's Dance
for all others- The Clash, London Calling
really, the why should be fairly self-explanatory.
